Hey everyone!

At my dutch homeforum, we every month do a mappingcontest. In those contest there will be a subject to map about, and then everyone can send in his/her map and in the end there will be a voting topic.

Rules:
  • You can give your comment on the maps that are posted, unless someone says he doesn't need comments.
  • Once you have posted your map to participate, you can't change it.
  • You can put NPC's, weather- fog- and - color tone-events in your maps.
  • You can't edit your map in Phototshop or any other program like Photoshop, you must do that by using a fog, panorama, etc..
  • You can't name mappingerrors! If you really need to do that, send a PM.
  • You can't post your map in the screenshot thread while the contest is running. You can do that afterwards.
  • The voting topic will be made on the 25th of the month; Then everyone's got 5 days to vote.

Dunno if this is clear; I had to translate from dutch. :P If you have any questions, let me know below.

So for September everyone has some days extra! We'll start today, and the voting topic will be made on the 25th of september.

Theme: A forest, just to start simple and to make the whole idea a little bit clear. Try to make something original, cause that's vital in this subject.

Good luck!

Nop, as long as it's made in any rpg maker it's okay.

Ahh wondering, what should be the size of the map? Just 20 x 15? Or could we make larger?

That doesn't matter at all, but heres a tip: You better want to make it small, cause then you'll get a better ambience.

If it's any RPG Maker, this should get moved to the General Game Creation, so that XP isn't the only maps we see, though it'll more than likely end up that way :P

Spoiler for:

Damn, and here I was thinking, "Hey, I should submit one of my own maps. I probably have some off chance of winning, right?" Then I scroll down and find this staring me in the face. Nice map.
