Well I'm just starting my game, and I want to start it with a few puzzles, but I'm not so sure how to go about making a few of them. It'd be awesome if I could get some help making different puzzles.

All sorts really. I realize most of them would utilize variables, but I don't know how to use them too well.

Give us some examples of the puzzles you'd like to have or we won't know what to help you with. It'd suck to spend a bunch of time working on a puzzle only to find it wasn't a puzzle you wanted.

In the meantime, my Hunting and Surfing systems, as well as Grafikal's Farming system, would be good things to start off with. Not sure if any of these are puzzles so much as minigames, but they can be used like puzzles.

NickTheSushi

I was wondering if there'd be any kind of Box pushing puzzle of some sort, one of the main LoZ puzzles. I really don't know what else to think of, that's why I made this topic; for suggestions and tutorials on different kinds of puzzles/minigames/obstacles/etc.

Ah, thanks mate. Any other puzzles or minigames you could tell me about?

I'm trying to come up with a puzzle package of various ones myself for people like you, but it'll be some time yet before I'm finished.

Try experimenting with switch flipping. One switch goes down, its neighboring switch goes up, and vice versa.

NickTheSushi

Yeah I was thinking of one of those switch tricks, I've seen them before.
