It took me 3 days, but I finally defeated Yizamat, telling him -

I can't find Omega Mark XII (or is is XIII ?).
Grrr.... these countless days fighing the best of the best will be pointless if I can't get the Omega Badge.

i see. Well, in that case, i suppose the next 48 hour time lapse i have ill have to choose between GW and FFXII, thanks tsuno.

It actually won't take that long lol.
Just start it at night. I did it like 2 - 3 nights in a row. And got massive lvls.

There is hunts in the passage where you fight the mimic queen in and do not know how to get in the passage again because it is blocked and I suck at figuring stuff out.

That's part of the Patient in the Desert side-quest. Also known as the Barheim Key Quest.

First you must complete the Cactuar Mob Hunt in order to get the Cactus
Flower, and be at a certain point in the game, in order to initiate
some of these events. When I first did this quest, it was right before
I went to the Feywood.

Go to the Dalmasca Eastersand South Bank village. Talk to Tchigri to
initiate a scene and chose to accompany Tchigri to the North Bank. Just
watch the scene here and you'll head back to the South Bank. Talk to
Dantro's Wife and she'll tell you that she threw the flower out at the
back of the house, so go around and examine the flower, to find out
that Dran regrew. Now go talk to Tchigri to take you back to the North
Bank, and return Dran back to his family and he will give you 1000 gil
and A puch of Wyrmfire Shot. Just head back to Tchigri, and he'll take
you back across to the South Bank again. Talk to Dantro's Wife and
she'll tell you that this time she needs some Senclam Shells. These
area really easy to get, some are found right by the water in the South
Bank Village, and more in the Banks of Nebra, which is one map south of
this village. All you really need are the ones you find right in the
village, and give them to her. She will now tell you that she needs
some Nebralim, which she thinks Dantro has, so now head all the way
South to the Outpost. Talk to Dantro and search the crates for a phial
of Nebralim, and head back to Dantro's wife. Talk to her to give her
the Nebralim, and then she'll ask you to get her some Valeblossom Dew
which can be found all the way at the Northern map of the Eastersands.
Just cross the river again (BTW just avoid the Cockatrice thing for
now), and head all the way North. At the Broken Sands area, go to the
cliffs and check the flowers for some Valeblossom Dew, and head back to
give it to Dantro's Wife. Leave for a while and come back to talk to
the Recovered Traveler, and he will give you the Barheim Key!

I beat the game and got ultima.

ultima is one of the toughest boss I have fought because she creates a field that can limit any command at any time and it sucks when she limits magic or attack but other don't matter except item at times. the enemys are not easy either. but once you got her you got the most kick ass esper except zodiac which i have no idea how to get to.

The hunt pyrolaster is hard also.the thing does 3000+ and need to heal a lot.

I am a freakin square nix fan all the way and love all the games.
I am also a nendo fan and love games on the gamecube. twilight princess is one of the best no matter what [maybe except resident evil 4 forgot if it was on camecube.

It's a great game. (People have their opinions)

The only reason there are gambits was to try something new.

Also, in some of the hidden boss  battles, without gambits? You'd be lucky to survive 30 seconds.

It's not a great game. FFT is a great game, being excelent across the board in storyline, gameplay, music, etc. FFXII is a good game, but not a great game. The battle system is fun and cool but it isn't for everyone, and the storyline is, well, almost nonexistant. Basically they give you a couple excuses to run around the world killing monsters and that's about it. The game was way too easy and ended very abruptly. Overall I think it was another huge dissapointment from Square-Enix. Well I guess that feels a bit unfair, they've made some pretty neat games but very few ones that were really great, but since their games have been overhyped so much one starts to expect them to actually live up to it.

I am having trouble w/ places that involve key such as passage. I cannot find the site 3 key in the lhusu mines. i cannot do the hunt diablos hunt.

I guess you have a point but this game is really final fantasy material. it has the magic doom and flare like most need it also has moogles,chocobos and secret boss[lots of secret bosses]. its also one of the best rpgs concider that nothing terrible was siad about it. The best pat about this game isno random encounters!!!Its the best dicisions they made since they made kefka.Scathe is the coolest magic attack in the game. I do not have it yet. There is a point that they started using espers again.
there is a esper named zeromus[ff4 last boss].Ultima is the most common boss in the ff series.

Before I actually read this, are there any big spoilers? I remember playing Final Fantasy X and Kingdom Hearts 1 without spoilers and it was awesome but when I was playing Final Fantasy x-2 and Kingdom Hearts 2 it wasn't as good.

The main evil villan is named Vayne and have to fight at the end.Most villans are possesed[2] by a evil monster.

I got this game on Friday (when it was released, obviously), and the only thing I find hard is leveling up. I'm not complaning though, I love it all.

farnir is very tough i revived my people every min. because they had silence so all they did is attack and the leader was behind a rock. leader does not have silence because he is out of range. he doees thundaga and he falls within a hour after 120 arise.but yes this is a very tough fight. so prepair by getting to lv. 100.

well my final fantasy 12 has been on pause (literllaly not switched off but on pause) for 2 days now im just where you get basch from the jail. (im guessing reks was vaan's brother) But anyway emm yeah i got monkey island and beneath a steel sky for my scumm engine so ive be playing them (ooooh the joys of retro games)

I think he means the Elder Wyrm. It's not THAT hard, actually. Just annoying because of the status's he can inflict.
