I know we already have the ability to select a favorite pokemon, but it would be nice to be able to designate which of your "owned" pokemon are your team.

Just a thought.

It's not a bad idea, but you can already pick a favorite.

If we did do this, I guess the team could always be displayed as tiny icons, underneath your username on the trainer page or something. Something like that?

Yeah like that or have them display first under your caught pokemon or having a little indicator on their "card" in that menu. Anything that allows people to see what someone's "team" is.

The small version sprites are 32x32, 6 would fit nicely in a trainer box.

But with people having a "team" of 6 favourite pokemon, I can guess what the next request would be :/

I vote "nay" to Pokemon battles. ;_; I like this whole thing being casual.

I like the whole team thing, but I think it would just become complex. o:

PhoenixFire

...yeah, I say let's Keep It Simple, Stupid applies here. I love the idea, but for the record, I vote no.

Sophist

I like the idea, for one. It doesn't have to be complex, just pick your team and stick with it. There's no way battling will be implemented, but everyone has their own team.

Yeah I don't see why having teams would necessitate battling. People might ask for it, yes, but then you could say "haha, no." I don't see any reason to hold off on a cool feature because of a slippery slope argument. You're in charge here, you don't have to implement anything you don't want to.
