    • Good day! Man am I glad I found this place... I am all ready a member of other RM forums but this one seems to have a bit more what I'm after.

    I'm a 21yo lady gamer and developer, I have an advanced diploma in professional games development in programming (don't let that fool you!) and want to get into the scripting side of RMs. I am also a bit of an art nerd, but new to pixel art too - so I feel like a bit of a newbie all 'round!

    I have RPG Maker VX Ace on steam and have made a couple of little adventures to experiment and get a feel for the engine. Currently working on a little "farming sim" called "Jelly Farm"!  It is terrible and I love every moment of working on it :P It's mostly a test of being able to complete a project, but I am finding myself wanting to make tools and scripts for functionality I want from rmvxa that just isn't there.. But I'm sure I'll get into that more elsewhere ;)


    As mentioned before I have an avd. dip. in games programming - but I get totally stuck with rmvxa scripts... I have a basic understanding of Ruby but no idea how I go about making things that manipulate rmvxa >__< I feel quite stupid about the whole thing.. I think I will find a lot of helpful threads here, preferably tutorials that are not videos haha (don't know why I dislike code tute videos so much, but there you go). Hopefully I will be contributing things in time.

    Other Othlon Facts:
    • I have two chihuahuas I love very much named Petal and Griff
    • I have Type 1 Diabetes (anyone else? i love meeting others!)
    • I also have lupus (which has an affect on some of my cognitive abilities, or maybe i just feel dumb :P )
    • Archaeology is another life passion of mine

    • I also craft a lot! Spinning, weaving,and quilting
    • I love MLP and Adventure Time....probably too much but hey!
    • I have 7 piercings(for now), 1 tattoo (for now), and Scarification on the backs of my legs
