In the continent of La'r Ciel, there was a great hero called "Basil".
He had fought off the great evils that had plunged the La'r Ciel continent into chaos with the help of his friends
during that time. Although a considerable amount of time had past, the people of La'r Ciel never had forgotten
the heroics of The Great Hero, Basil nor did they forget his words before he passed onto the next world.

"Estoite"
The word was uttered by The Great Hero, Basil in his every adventure.
There was a boy from a Kingdom called Nakul who had always been fascinated by The Hero Basil, and his name was Arkad.
Arkad had trained hard in the ways of the Soulblade alongside with his sister, Aeris, whom was trained in the ways of
the traditional art of Langnite created by The Hero Basil's wife, Minerva. Langnite is an artform that is related to the modern form of Langnite called Soulblade. Arkad sets off on a journey with his sister, Aeris, to find the meaning of the word "Estoite" and to meet their father in the capital city, Rrine.

Arkad
An earnest boy whom's wish is to attain strength, like
that of the legendary hero, Basil.

Aeris
Aeris, sister of Arkad and is skilled with the Lance.
Known as "The Maiden of the Lance" in their hometown,
The Village of Elpis.

Etoile
Etoile, sister to the renowed brawler Claramae, who
is apart of the "Ahlwan Circle"

Lyudmil
Lyudmil, an apprentice under Wymond and aspires to
enter the "Ahlwan Circle" himself.

Wymond
Wymond, a skilled master of the "Spellblade".
One of the "Ahlwan Circle" and Claramae's equal.

Claramae
Claramae, a skilled user of the hand-claw. One of
the "Ahlwan's Circle" and is Wymond's equal.

Iris
Iris, sister to Wymond of the "Ahlwan Circle".
Gentle and kind, but clumsy.

Unknown Man
A mysterious man whom you met on your travels.

Laufeia
Laufeia, once a member of the "Ahlwan Circle", but
was exiled due to massacring civilians. She is now
nowhere to be seen or known, but it is believed she
still is in the Kingdom of Nakul.

A quick comment about consistency in your mapping.

If you're going to use the black "top of wall" tiles like this:

Then you shouldn't have that wooden outline around the outside of them. You need it on the inside so it's obvious that the wall has ended, but you don't need it around the outside. It would look a lot better without the outside outline. Does that make sense?

You should be consistent about the style of tiles you use to do this. If you're going to use the black ones (which you should since you're filling the out of the maps with black anyway), don't use ones like this...

... because they look fugly.

Noted. Thank you for your suggestion!   :)

I guess I should add that it's not always wrong to use "top-of-wall" tiles like the ones in the bottom screenshot. I only think that they look ugly in this case because you're going straight to black on the outside: If you're going straight to black on the outside then it's better to keep it simple and only outline around the edges of the walls.

If instead of going straight to black you're going to show the outside walls of the building, that's when it looks better to use "top-of-wall" tiles that aren't just black. For example (the pink is actually black once in-game):

Overall though, it's about consistency. I personally think the wooden "top-of-wall" tiles you showed look ugly, but that doesn't mean everyone else will. But they are definitely a different style to the black ones. So pick one style and go with it!

I like the faces and expressions
I like how the flowers are animated, but they seem to move a little fast. o.o
The exterior maps look really good!
The sprites are smaller on the world map? Nice! :)

Hmmm...some of the interior maps looked a little off, but I can't explain why... The clutter looked good for the most part, but a few of the maps might have needed just a bit more. :]

Acolyte

You have two different types of cliff going on and it's kinda weird.
Try using the individual chunks of the round cliffs instead of copying them wholesale.

Nice mapping, all locations look nice and cosy.

I always struggle with interiors they always have empty space.

Thank you!
I try to envision them if they were real life places and try to mimic a lively environment for the characters to live in :)
