More than the ones before it? I thought they made quite a few graphical improvements.

Unrelated to RTP, but being able to stack layers without events OHMYGOD

it's not really all that bad. It just feels like such a rehash of the old rtp. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like there's not a whole lot of tiles to work with either.(aside from those cool sci-fi tiles which, while cool, just don't feel like part of the rtp)

I was hoping for something a little different too, especially since it seems like the tiles needed to be remade anyways to accommodate the new size. I did notice a few "missing" things, such as the larger doors.

I didn't like the VX RTP so this RTP isn't really for me, either. These maps are making pretty good use of it, though.

The MV ones look pretty cute, but they're still oh-so blocky. ;~; Wouldn't use them for a serious game.

Then again, I started making games with RPG Maker 3, which (despite being 3d) set the bar pretty low for me.
