I had to travel twice this year and the laptop stuff wasn't all that bad - just a little annoying.

Sorry I didn't update this earlier. I've been back for a few days. The kids seem to be taking it pretty well, but that's probably because they're so young and don't really *get* it yet.

It's not about the TSA getting upset, it's just that I don't like lugging around a suitcase, laptop bag, and purse. Especially when my laptop bag has the awful tendency of coming unhooked from the straps.

Ah, fair enough. I used to hate when that happened,  so now I have a suitcase-esque bag with a design from Nightmare before Christmas from Disney, so, now I just get weird looks instead lmao
