Some of these are fairly simple arrangements, others are more complex and expansive. Some were experiments to see if I could actually make something out of the source material. In any case, I hope you all enjoy them! If people like these enough, I may do more someday.

Out-fucking-standing! I really dig how you altered the rythm of Memories of Lightwaves, and the Bach-like quality of Dancing Mad. It makes me want to dust off my old keyboard and see if I still have my chops. Very well done!

No! Favourite is a relational term, and if they are all liked equally then none of them are favoured. Therefore, they cannot all be your favourites unless you extend the context to include songs outside of those posted in this topic, in which case you need to be more specific since it is hardly a compliment to say that you favour Halo's music over the soothing tones of Cannibal Corpse.

I take this very seriously because my mother was a dictionary. I once poked a man in the solar plexus for saying "I could care less" to express indifference. He beat me up pretty badly after, but I would do it again.

I do plan on doing at least another of these. I recorded 5 other songs that I didn't include with this one because of that. Also because I already have an hour's worth of music here.

I'm not happy with that track so I'm redoing it. I feel like I dropped the ball on that one. Also Strike said it sucked. (okay he used a different phrasing)

I said you didn't really do it justice, it got better near the middle but it feels really empty.

I get the feeling the beginning at least until it picks up needs some reverb.

lol. I actually like it though, I guess it's sort of a guilty pleasure. It doesn't seem to translate very well to piano, however, or at least it would take someone better at playing and arranging than I to make it work. I'm still going to do another version though.~

The one song from Halo is really good, but it would be nearly impossible to do a piano version, because it benefits from the sustained strings.

You know, this might make a more applicable choice for the Halo track.

The problem is finding a midi or sheet music to do these, because I aint learnin them by ear

I like the arrangement I've got done now, and it was a request so I'm gonna go ahead and do it. ;o But I agree, that a piano version will always be inferior and the Halo soundtracks certainly have better tracks.

Halo you've done an amazing job on the 'StickerBrush Symphony'. That was literally the only song I've tried and failed to play on keyboard. But hearing your completed version has inspired me to give it another go.

I dig that FE theme, as well as the FF9 battle theme song. Two of my favorite overall games. That lost Odyssey battle theme is simply awesome!

Thanks guys. I'm working on another one, I hope to have it done by the end of the month.

Also I did that rearrangement of the Halo theme, I just forgot to record it. I'll get that done probably tomorrow and post it. It's about as good as a piano arrangement for it could probably be, at least from me anyway. At the very least, it's better than what I originally posted.

Wow, these are beautiful. And THANK YOU for doing the Final Fantasy IX theme. IX is my absolute favorite in the series, and the nostalgia meter of nostalgic happiness just busted open.

FFX-2 is one of the best Final Fantasies.
