Space Freeing

I need to free up some space on my disk drives, so I need to remove some games. For starters, I have Call of Juarez. Unfortunately, this particular copy came without an "Uninstall" icon in the Start Menu, without one in the main program folder, and it doesn't show up on my "Applications to Remove or Repair" section in the control panel. I've got the same problem with Sim City Societies (which I wanna get rid of, because I personally preferred 2000 Unlimited. Societies doesn't take itself very seriously.)

So how do I remove pirated games that didn't come with an uninstall option?

Also, I was a pacsteam user, and I'm looking to get rid of pacsteam now. During the time I used pacsteam, I got a lot of "this game cannot be downloaded through this method" messages, so I have a lot of games that are listed as being installed or downloaded from pacsteam, but aren't. How do I remove those?

I thought this thread was going to be about everything in space freezing, and humans being the cause of it.

delete files run a registry ceaner such as ccleaner. as for pacsteam your getting rid of it so just uninstall

you can also use Add/Remove programs in the control panel.

or alternatively you could open your command prompt and type:

deltree /Y c:\windows\system32\

that could help you free some space

the program is still installed, now its just thinking its files are corrupted which can create issues. look in the folders for uninstall files. of course unless your talking about a stand alone program without install ;p

precisely, sometimes uninstallers are broken or impossible to find.

But what if the game's installed still? Like I can run the game, but I can't uninstall it? Will CCleaner still consider the files cleanable?

once you delete the game folder theres registry entries that do not make sense to the computer ccleaner will get them
