Graphic Novels aren't books.

Oh look, a "separatist". Well two can play at that game. I'll play the role of the "literalist".

"2.   a number of sheets of blank or ruled paper bound together for writing, recording business transactions, etc."

Hence the "etc." A text "book" has pictures in it. A picture "book" has pictures in it. A graphic "novel" is a kind of book, because the word "novel" is in it, and a "novel" is a kind of book.

Oh look, a "whiny bitch". Well two can play at that game. I'll play the role of the "winner".

"2.    a 16 year old weeaboo who wastes way too much time comparing glorified comic strips to works of literature, etc."

Hence the "etc." Your "ass" has cocks in it. Your mom's "ass" has my cock in it. A graphic "novel" of your life would be so uninteresting because every page would have either a panel of you sitting in front of your computer crying, or a picture of you sitting in front of your computer masturbating.

Manga are comics, where aren't books.

The term graphic novel was made up to make people who read comics feel more intelligent.

-
Series:
Hard to say, but I like John Carter of Mars a lot....
Book:
Even harder, And Then there were None (Christie) was really good, and the Alchemists (Coelho) was good too.

I think a graphic novel is a book, not the same level of book as a fullout novel, but its as much a book, as thuogh little mr.happy books, or those fucking Franklin books.

What's the difference between a graphic novel and a comicbook?

EDIT: JOHN CARTER OF MARS! <3

Ah yes...David Thedaris, by far, one of the best authors ever. I seriously recommend you read Naked and Me Talk Pretty one Day. I own all his books but Barrel Fever  ;8
