It really bugs me when people draw Cloud with a wing (it's just not Cloud anymore, somehow...)  but these are pretty good.  Sketch-art is one of my favorite kinds of drawing.

I know it's kingdom hearts...I don't know why but I can't stand the fact that they put that wing on him.  I guess it's to similar-ize him with Sephiroth's iconic one wing, but still...that just...it isn't cloud.  but your drawing up there is pretty good.

here's a challenge if you ever get bored: draw a battlescene, simple, like just one person vs a monster or something.  Added bonus--draw some magic, like the third pic in your last upload.

I don't like shading when I color my sketches
but I've done some shading work when I do entire photoshop pieces
I like doing crosshatch effects on sketches and just paint under that

I like a simpler style, gets my image across, looks well etc...

yeah, that's what I started working on with the Photoshop colors that you see, the one of the woman with the purple hair, the blonde, and the angel with the mask.
I decided to see what I could pull off, and I'm quite pleased with the results.
I just don't think that sort of shading would befit the sketch very well ne?

Perhaps not those drawings in particular.  But maybe future drawings would benefit from shading.  Never know till you try. =)

shading is interesting. I think that your style would benefit from simple shading...not realistic shading.

I know another artist who, at 4000 page views, offered a free character sketch to the first person to screen him at 5000 page views. He generally only got a about 10-15 page views per day, but it only took him two days for that extra 1000 views to come in.
