I stopped using Windows 8 when it wouldn't let me play PSO2. PSO2 was not worth the move back to Windows 7. Although I had been suffering through other annoyances, like my computer locking up whenever I disconnected my MP3 player. And there were a bunch of annoying driver issues.

I like the Metro start menu, though. It's a lot easier to use than the traditional start menu.

Its open beta only started recently. It's only in Japanese so far.

The only problem I'm having is that GFWL games won't play on Window 8 for some reason, but I'll deal.

I also like the new start menu as well, and I'm looking forward to seeing what people make for it.

Normally you right click and go to view but I think your icons are as small as they are going to get.

I actually have a folder of wallpapers, and it chooses one at random every hour or so, but here's what it was on right now:

But if I move my mouse to the upper left corner, I get this:

Augh, I don't really like launchpad. It seems like there's a lot of wasted space with those giant icons. To launch an application I usually just command+space to summon spotlight, type the first few letters of the application's name and hit enter.

I disagree.

Swipe + click = more efficient, and easier than command+space+type some shit.

And I don't understand the issue with wasted space. What's the space going to be used for? Other icons? Just organize your apps. Make folders. I even made a "shit I don't use" folder to get apps I don't use out of the main launchpad screen.

Mine only opens when I do a touch motion, so I don't have to use it.

It takes a fraction of a second to bring up spotlight and type like three letters, unless you're really slow on the keyboard.

Haha, yeah, you're right. But the same is true for using a mouse. Personal preferences etc etc butts
