Speaking as resident Muse fanboy, I'm confused why they threw Madness all over the place while Supremacy and Panic Station are far superior. I understand that they were going more for the popular market, but there was better stuff on the album. This video for Supremacy doesn't really add anything though. I'm hoping they release an actual video like they did for Madness.

Supremacy and Panic Station are far superior. That is a fact. The transition from the first orchestral section to the intro riff again is fucking balls (I think he really nailed the shrill vocals there, too) and goddamn I love me some brass.

I dislike a lot of his vocals on Panic Station, but not enough to detract from the overall song.

I'm inclined to concur a bit. It seems as though he goes a bit out of tune at some points during the verses. Some of the little licks at the end of the verse lines seem a bit pointless. He also alternates between falsetto and belting during the chorus; I don't mind this, I kinda like it, but I understand why someone might dislike it.

Nope, Follow Me doesn't have enough "Ho" and "Hey" being chanted to be popular nowadays. (I unapologetically wrote this as I listened to "Take a Walk")

Yeah, you pretty much nailed it. The falsetto and belting are an odd contrast. Sometimes it sounds as if he wants to scream like he would've on OoS but he wants to also remain technically proficient. It's a weird mix of trying to sound skilled and boisterous. It sounds a bit forced.
In regards to the emboldened section: The tremolo echo thing?

I'm hoping they release an actual video like they did for Madness.

Madness seems to be more like poppy crap because there's nothing all that interesting in it. Follow Me has contrasting sections, which makes it confusing if you're dancing in a club like a simpleton (i.e., with no regard to the music ). However, WUBWUBWUBWUB. So I guess you're right. But it does seem as though they've made one more popular song on each of their albums since Absolution - Time is Running Out, Starlight, Undisclosed Desires (maybe, unsure of this one), Madness. Closest thing to that on OoS is Plug in Baby, and in Showbiz probably Fillip. But now I'm just rambling. Also Showbiz is fucking brilliant.

It's not always an echo, but yeah. It would've been cool if he didn't do it in the first verse, to add something to the later verses, but whatever. It's not my decision. I don't like criticising Matt's compositional decisions so much because I love him and I'm supposed to be a fanboy.

I'd vote Muscle Museum. That was the first Muse song I ever knew anything about.
