ok i have freinds who are helping me with my game now. The games name is Serfial the first waze.  For anyone who played the demo, it sucked bad but
i am starting over from scratch. I am makeing this so i can find out what people like.

either ff7, SoM, riviera, or LOZ:ALttP. i want to play tales of phantasia though

1. i'd like it more if there were little of both in leveling up status
(refining the weapons and obtaining level 2 skills after obtaining level 1)
2. i'd rather go with linking maps but you must put teleporters or it will be hell to walk between the last and the first cities
3. a few, keep them all in the party all the time or most of it and add summons to cover for the need of switching members
4. i want more hours than i can be stuffed to play , a good game is a game i never finished but actually tried to(over 50 hours, and all those first 50 hours gotta be very intresting and include all sorts of hidden stuff and side quests)
5. limit break isn't for me, i feel it's like a once per long time cheat to kick my enemy out, i'd rather have a once a battle deadly summon instead
6. free movement by far, but it has to be good planned unlike the first few zeldas, no offense but just running into ppl and poking them with a sword is silly..
i want free magics and skills with delays like ragnarok's and dungeon siege's and every other good mmorpg battle system
7. sure i like it... thats why  i turn my speakers off, voice acting is only good when you are making movies and only if the actor is very good at it
8.  yeah i like it, and i always want to have the option of coming back when it's over, and sidequests are good too but i don't want to be able to get them again
9. no, i am not playing rpg games to be able to play a sims mini game..
if you wanna make a love story between 2 main characters i am sure it can add to the game, but it can't be optional and they can't end up together, it's pointless
10. i played sooo many rpgs, but no doubt the 2 favorites were golden sun 1 (i finished it, and i hated finishing it...they should have kept going... golden sun 2 wasn't good compared to it...)
and the other one has to be ragnarok, i mean i played it for a year and now i am sick and tired of it, but omg i played something for a year...

it realy deend on the story, the game for examlpe dark cloud 2 had only 2 charicter and worked great but FFX had 6 i think.

alot, i hate games that are to easy to beat, i like long games but not noes that are so hard no one can beat it

being so very shocked from that line i dled rm2k3 cus i just had to try it out
and then i found out it's a turn based...
it got timers to show the agility effect and it's not always equal turns which is nice and all , but it's not real time Xx

maybe i don't know what you guys mean by "real time" but for me "real time" is when you walk completely freely , like outside the battle, and use everything you want with cast times and your attack speed (so it won't look like you are using a crazy machine gun unless u boost agi to 999) while your oppoent does the very same
(of course then you can see the monsters from far and you can regen hp and sp)

I generally don't care very much about this.

Yes. I remember how disappoint I was when learning that FFX didn't have that feature

Few.

As much as possible, but gameplay is more important. For example. If I were to chose between 2 games where nr.1 had a good gameplay throughout it's short 30 minutes it lasted and nr.2 had an bad - average gameplay in it's 30 hours I would almost always choose nr.1
And also if you had a game with a story better to be plotted over 2 hours than 1 hour I would want the 2 hours version.

Yes

6. Do you like free movement or turn based battle?
I want a nice and smooth battle system be it free movement or turn based.

Yes

Yes

As for weopons I'd like to it's how you balance them cuz in FE7 and 6 there were only like 12 weopons but thats all you needed but for a traditional rpg more weopons and skills is better granted they be good weopons and skills(no retarted names and have good balence)

Games need movable world maps(most of the time) dont do it rmps1 style( you pick a location on the map and it sends you there...no random encounters and no room for secret areas)

More skills I think probably. Skills give a more customiseable feel for me, rather than just "bad sword", "slightly better sword", "good sword". Weapons become reall fun when they have skills attached to them like in FFIX I think and you have to use a certain weapon for a while to learn that particular skill.

2. Do you like the world map system of traveling?
Yes. It helps to put everything in perspective.

3. Do you lots of party members or just a few powerfull ones?
I like having a few party members to choose from, and a couple of secret optional ones too if possible.
Although, the class system where you have a few and can change their classes like in FFX-2 is also pretty fun for the customiseability aspect, as long as every class has it's strengths and weaknesses.

4. How many hours of play do you look forward to in a game?
Alot. Generally it should be a long game, but not ridiculously hard. The game should be mediumly difficult to beat but extremely hard to 100% it. Lots of sidequests etc.

5. Do you like the limit Break system?
Yes, it adds another aspect to the battle system.

6. Do you like free movement or turn based battle?
The battle system in FFX is a Conditional Turn-based Battle system.
It's basically where it's turn based, not active time, but certain things can effect the turn order, like haste, delay etc.
I enjoy that system because you can plan ahead more effectively as you can see when you will get your next turns. Although ATB is also good for keeping up the pace, you can't hang around because then the enemy gets turns. UNless you turn on wait mode of course.

7. Do you like voice overs?
I do not think voice overs would suit a game made in RPG Maker at all.

8. Do you like mini games in your rpg game of choice?
Yes, lots, sidequests too. Little mini games you play for money or just for fun shouldn't be too difficult. However sidequests should be a range of difficulty from easy to ridiculously hard requiring you to max out your characters to complete them all. This will keep hardcore and more relaxed gamers happy. Also include some secret really hard bosses, like the weapons in various Final Fantasies. They shoulld be much harder than the final boss.

9. Do you like the relationship system?
If it's done well and draws you in, then yes.

10. What is your favorite rpg game of all time?
Hmmm... Probably Final Fantasy 8, because of it's completely different approach to magic, which I loved, and it's enthralling storyline which kept me captivated more than the others. It is the only one where I really really CARED about what happened. It wasn't, "I want to finish this game because it's a challenge and it's fun." It became, "I have to complete this game to find out what happens and make sure they're all alright in the end." But the other Final Fantasies aren't far behind.

WORLD MAP SYSTEM! ....so it won't take long time.

I prefer games and charcters with unconventional weapons.  Perhaps, allow the playable characters to use different weapon types with skills for each?

It's fine.

Power doesn't matter as long as the characters are likeable.  The problem with games that have too many characters (Such as the Suikoden sereis) is that they lack depth and are forced to rely upon short phrases and cliches.

more than 1, but less than 100

It's fine.

Turn based.
