Thats what i was doing. If you would stop gloating about how "great" America is and actually read the pots then take a second and think over it and how horrible democracy is to some people how it can be horrible for some people., How persecution is possible under this system.

Persecution isn't possible under other forms of government? Anyone who doesn't like the current government can always get elected and change it. Can you say that about other systems? You single out a particular system and rag on it without mentioning the other forms of government which are much more brutal.

Some times a dictator is the best.,

If the dictator was thoughtful and tried to do the best for his people then that government then that system would work best, but this is rare just look at the list of dictators this is because of how a dictator is made because they are made by conquest. Even so some country's flourish or have flourished under systems such as dictatorships and monarchies.

Just because a dictator "means well" doesn't mean that he will actually do well. By the way, you are postulating the existence of a lot of perfect people - enough of them to maintain a government. If you had less than perfect people managing the government then corruption and incompetence would slowly seep in, and with no way to remove the harmful member of the government from power the population would suffer. I don't think the 1800's should count either, as those injustices could easily be attributed to the fact that we were still a growing country and out political system could have (and WAS) easily been taken advantage of by a wealthy outside party.

Slavery wasn't created in a democratic society, you nitwit. It was done away with by the English fairly early on and the Northern states (which had traditions of democracy) had as well. The South seceded partially because their aristocratic - not democratic - society depended on slave labor to maintain its economy.

Segregation was a failure of democracy, and it was done away with as it infringed upon the rights of minorities - n example of democracy working.

I don't like that line of thought. It reminds me of what right-wingers and soldiers say when they hear anything they perceive to be anti-American: "We're fighting to protect your right to say that!"
