Howdy all J-Man here. And yup finally I've decided to release a small demo... I'm not sure how long it is in length wise. So yeah, if it is short sorry... I do plan on releasing another one once there is more progress made... but this demo is just to show and tell and see what is in store for you.

-Storyline- The story had to be altered almost completely. So allow me to tell you the new storyline.

1000 Years has passed since the events in Phantasia 3. More wars and terrible disasters occured reshaping the world today. And during the 500 years the world had to deal with the menace of a demon race known as "Relic Demons" who had power beyond imagination.

In present time, a group of local civilians built a Aerial Colony "Eclispa" and took off to space in order to get away from the cruelties of war which the planet Gaia has dealt with for more then 5 milleniums now. The creation of the colony occured 10 years ago. And during that time two opposing nations the Argus Empire and the Zein Empire were at each others throats. The war ended with the Zein Empire as victors... but the cruelties of war has left its mark. Many people have built villages and some moved to large towns to gain a profit.

As for the Zein Empire, not much as been heard from them lately. In fact many believe they perished along with Argus... but who knows.

Now then, at the colony. Fyron Neos has grown up at the isolated colony of the Eclispa with his mother and his friends Maria and Fiore. They have been having a happy life ever since they had to leave Gaia at such a young age, they would not remember much about the planet. Except from all the things the adults taught them.

But one day that day came to an shattering end, when a mysterious group has attacked the Colony, leaving many people curious on who the attacker is. Upon inspecting the colony, Fyron and Maria run into a man named Carson. He says that a group has come to attack the colony and they plan on taking the civilians hostages, but eventually through all this confusion everyone has to evacuate because the groups true plot is to destroy the colony, with the civilians inside.

But in the nick of time Fyron and the others save the villagers and manage to evacuate, but Fyron's mother Silmeria decides to stay and protect his son, as they land on Gaia, the planet they haven't been on since they were small... Fyron has decided to embark on a journey given the directions from his mother and also find out the intention of this group called "Kathrol" the group that destroyed the Colony. With Fyron, Maria, Carson and another girl they run into named Leah. These four travel Gaia in search of truth, their own destinies and their individual paths to learn about themselves.

-Characters-
Fyron Neos Age: 17
An trickster to his friend Maria at times, and also has a small sense of
justice and friendship toward his friends, he is the hero you control in
Phantasia 4.

Maria Tere Age 16
In Fyron's terms, she's the pain in the neck. But in reality, both Maria and
Fyron can't seem to live without each other. She is a master cook, and
also quite knowledgable with Magic Orbs. The army is after her because
perhaps her knowledge might lead the enemy to victory.

Carson Age 23
A mercanary for hire by the Kathrols, after given the true motives of what the Kathrols intended to do, he decides to play hero and attempt to save the civilians of the Eclispa as a way of getting back at them. He will always consider his job before anything else. He volunteered to help Fyron in his quest to reach his destination, but what does he plan on doing afterwards? Will he go on to his next job? Who knows...

Leah Yaihiko Age 21
A traveller who is of Minervian Blood, an race that studies under the Elementals and the skills of the ancient "Masters" race. She travels the land in order to fufill her needs of enjoyment, but her true motives is that she doesn't want to undergo a trail which would cost Leah her very freedom.

-Gameplay-
You are now given a new type of ability system... this time instead of searching for Sword Scrolls, you learn them all through an ability system.
Unfortunatly, it will no be released in the demo, so to suffice you will learn the few skills at level requirements.

At last!  A demo of Phantasia 4!  You certainly kept us waiting.  I don't have any experience with your previous games, so I hope it won't be too confusing.
