RPG Maker 2000 help!

I just got RPG Maker 2000, but when I try to run it, it says 'RPG Maker 2000 Error: Install English RTP'. What does this mean, and what do I do? Or did I mess up somehow?

after that, click the link that says "rpg maker 2000 rtp 1.0". Extract and install this into your rpg maker folder, then run rpg maker 2000.
