Do it like I did. Go to rmxp.net, register there and check the whole script section through, while testing a few scripts. If you analyze them a bit and try to change them and watch the effects, you can learn quite some stuff. I learned a lot in only 3 days. Just check the scripts through and try to understand, what exactly they are doing...
