BMP to PNG?

is there any possible way to convert a bmp to a png? i need it for a couple resources because the quality is low in bmp form

BMP is the best...
But to change it, Save as...->Save as a .PNG-> Save

oh em gee it wont let me do that, it only has a bmp save setting, i want it png so it doesnt change to jpg on photobucket

any rpg maker that i know of uses .bmp and .png so why would you want .png?
