     I am using a 4 color palette for the tileset, similar to old GB titles. However, character sprites will be given 7 colors to incorporate details, and to make them stand out amongst the tiles. I designed the artwork myself, aside from the character, which is an edit made using the HalfKaiser sprite bases. Here's a sneak peek:
