last night I had the strangest dream

Any time I have a dream, I always get so deep into it that I have never realized I'm dreaming, whatever is happening to me really is happening until I wake up, and even then it can take a couple seconds to realize that it wasn't happening

I was at my old university, many years ago

in the dead of night, or at least the early morning, i'm outside a concrete building with a ramp leading to the front door

the front door is just a glass pane you'd see on any business, reading Josie's Breakfast, and the hours of operation

there's a man who comes up behind me and scares the shit out of me by asking if they're open

I say they're not but they should be soon, and look at the glass

Josie's Breakfast opens at 4:55am, when before it read from 6-midnight.

I look at my watch, and it's 4:55am on the spot, what luck

I don't go inside because this man hands me a phone, which is my phone of course, and on it is a website

on the site is an application for a band of criminals together for big money

big money of course is all I care about in my dream instead of breakfast so I call the number and i'm teleported to a very nice apartment

in this apartment is myself, roph, and one of my friends in real life

we don't say anything but just start going about our business

the three of us go to a hotel, the hallways are narrow and dim with old lights and old carpet, all awash in neutral tan colors

roph knocks on a door and the three of us just go inside

it's a small, dinky one bedroom hotel with just a bed, and a cabinet

there's two people in the bed

my friend sticks them with some kind of needle and they both are paralyzed in fear, considering we just broke into their room

roph sets up a video camera

we end up waiting there until one of the two dies from poisoning or some shit I dunno

we leave the second one there permanently paralyzed to watch the corpse and the camera

we use the internet to set up these murders, all orchestrated by roph

apparently about 30 people in we're all getting pretty paranoid and ready to quit

the chinese triad breaks into our apartment and we all scatter, but i'm caught

I'm sent to an all women's prison with a great fear of how i'm going to survive

nobody wants me around and they never gave me any prison pants so I'm wearing a bright orange prisoners shirt and blue jeans and everyone looks at me strangely

I see five or six of the prisoners take off in a hush and realize that it's the triad, coming to kill me in prison

I escape down a sewer system and run into a special agent assassin who is there to help me

we break free and run across an open field from the prison

some time later I'm back at the apartment and open my phone

on it is a new job offer, orchestrated by roph who got away freely, for another group

I woke up this morning thinking I was a legitimate serial killer and was horrified with myself until I realized it was just a dream

there's also a shopping mall inside women's prisons now who knew

Lucid dreams are always fun. Scary, sometimes. But fun.

Lucid dreams are always fun. Scary, sometimes. But fun.

A lot of symbols in dreams are so strongly exaggerated. :B Death itself relates to change: enforcing this death on someone else is either a reflection of forced change or  aspects of self control - trying to change something, but not quite handling it the right way. It also depends on how you felt during the dream - indifferent, aggressive, scared, etc. So, killing someone in your dream luckily doesn't make you a sociopathic murderer.

I've had some pretty crazy dreams. I remember lucid dreaming all the time when I was a kid, but somewhere along the line it's like my brain forgot how to do it.
