[XP] Playtesting Screen Popup

Hey guys,
When I'm playtesting on XP, a menu pops up for switches and variable. No matter how many times I press Esc to get rid of it, it keeps popping up! :( I've tried reinstalling, starting a new project... Nothing's getting rid of it!
Someone please please please help. It's irritating me to high heavens!

Push your F9 key a bunch of times, like 2000 times.
