(XP)Mapping Question

I have a question about creating a village house. I've been trying to create an upside-down "L" shaped building. The problem I run into is fixing the roof to where it doesn't look like two separate buildings. I have no screenshots, but I'm using the RTP Farm Village tileset.

Can anyone help, please?

There's really no good way to make a house like that with those tiles. I'd try finding another house style and inserting that into the tileset.

Actually I was wrong. I'm using the RTP Full Tileset (Basically all the RTP tilesets in one giant tileset).
