[Novelty] Azure Hearts: Consimilis Shift

A Visual Novel under development that is scheduled to be released in 2015-2020.
A scheduled anime adaptation will also be aired in the late 2030.

Plot

Exactly 200 years before the events of the game, humanity was in a war against the Orochi. The world was saved by Six Heroes who had the ability to use magic. This event would be later known as the First War of Magi.

Shortly after, the Magic Circle Order (MCO for short) was created to regulate the use of magic in the society. It was a network of AI established by the Circle of Six. It soon began to lose track of it's original purpose and ignited the Second War of Magi which took place in Soul City. The people in Soul City openly rebelled against the System that it was running on (although they do not know that it was an AI they're against). Upon the MCO's victory, they declared the punishment for any rebellion against the MCO with death.

In December A.D. 2110, several years after the Second War of Magic, a branch of the MCO's AI was utterly disrupted by the appearance of a man named "Jeff". The MCO, hoping to stop him, immediately took control of his life by enrolling him into the Six Souls High School. Interestingly, Jeff has the ability to use "Chaos Mode". A powerful program encoded into his very soul that when he activates, his abilities become different from usual. This led the MCO to not only control Jeff's life but also to device a plan to obtain the program from Jeff.

Jeff Demonesu is a Junior student from Six Souls High School and is Derek (older) twin brother. He is a protagonist of the Azure Hearts Series.

Personality:
Jeff is sardonic, rude, and abrasive to anyone he comes across. He is also quick to anger, stubborn, and never misses a chance to use as much vulgar language as possible. In this regard, Jeff is similar to the stereotypical anime delinquent. This is caused mainly by the society destroying Jeff's life, which has created a mass of hatred in him; stronger than that of any other individual. However, even in cases where he cannot win or is on the brink of death, Jeff possesses an undying will and refuses to give up, something many characters hate or admire.
 
Beneath his gruff exterior, however, Jeff does possess a softer, more compassionate side. He chooses to keep up his public front because of the path he chose - that of revenge. He does genuinely care for certain people, such as Geovan and Leon. Despite Derek's role in the destruction of his life, still cares for him as a brother. It is also hinted that Jeff and Leon have feelings for one another, but both of them would die before admitting it.

He is the splitting image of Ragna the Bloodedge being the alternate world of Blazblue. He is a young adult with white hair and red eyes. He wears the regular outfit for the Junior Student of Six Souls High School. 
 
When he was in his mid-teens,  he wears a traditional Japanese style sleeveless red turtle neck top, long black gloves that reach to his elbows, baggy black pants, and red shoes.
 
Powers and Abilities:
Jeff is one of the most powerful individuals in the world of Azure Hearts. He possesses incredible fighting skills enough to take down a squad of the Student Council. Being the human form of the Orochi, Jeff has incredible seithr powers. His elemental affinity is darkness and fire. In battle he summons parts of the Orochi to attack. He also has the ability to transform his entire body into a demon of pure darkness to devastate his foes.
 
His weapon of choice is the Muramasa, a weapon that was made for destruction and also supplements his ability to steal life force with each strike. It initially takes on the form of a git sword with a giant slab of metal resembling a blade. The weapon can change into a scythe-like weapon to effectively steal more energy from the foe (which involves summoning parts of the Orochi). One of the main reasons Jeff is hunted down is because of his ability to use the Chaos Mode, an incredibly powerful artificial form of the Chaos Soul sought out by many which grants its wielder power that he desires to obtain. The Chaos Mode enhances the powers of whoever wields it. In the case of Jeff, he enters a more powerful state known as Blood Pain, enveloping him in a dark aura that doubles his attack power at the cost of his life energy.

- Regenerative Ability (through the use of Soul Eater/Life Absorption)

During his childhood, he and Jeff Demonesu were separated. He was adopted by the Fukunaka family which was one of the highest status'd family. He doesn't remember who Jeff was but when he meets him, he becomes a psychopathic killer who is out to kill Jeff no matter what it takes.
 
Personality:
 
Derek is cold, aloof, and borderline sociopathic. He cares little for the feelings of others, and denounces, in his own words, trivialities like camaraderie, believing that such things are lies that people use to their advantage. He has no compunction with killing anyone who gets in the way of his goal.
 
This, however, is all a facade. The moment he reunites with Jeff, he loses his calm, detached demeanor and reverts to his childhood self. His voice becomes noticeably more ecstatic, and he is now prone to fits of maniacal laughter. In the past, he would often cling to Jeff for assistance with everything, which greatly annoyed Jeff.
 
Appearance:
Due to the game being an alternate world of BlazBlue, he is the split image of Jin Kisaragi although not exactly the same. Besides that, he is a good-looking and slender young man with short, emoish white hair and red eyes. He wears the regular outfit for the Junior Student of Six Souls High School while this attire changes slightly adding a jacket with a blue armband saying "Public Relations Division". He also has a pin on the jacket signifying his status as the Hero of Six Souls.
 
As a child, he wore a light blue shirt and black shorts. When he was adopted by the Fukunakas, he wore a Japanese tradition training shihakush? uniform.
 
Powers and Abilities:
Derek proves his elite status in the Student Council with his exceptional skills on public relationships with the other schools. Wielding the Masamune, he controls the element of light and ice (mostly ice), wielding it with such efficiency that he is able to shape the ice he creates into different forms such as a series of blades and is able to propel himself on one . His swordsmanship as well as his powers rival and contrasts that of his brother Jeff. While Jeff fights with savage, powerful blows, Derek's style is elegant, which strangely polarizes his own personality.
 
Derek's true power though is currently suppressed because of someone's mind control ability. There are hints of this true power showing up periodically in the series, but not in its full potential. However, according to Jeff, should Derek's true power managed to overcome that, then he said that Derek will become his "greatest enemy".

- Derek is a very elegant and intelligent character, This act is similar to that of a tsundere (a person who is initially cold and hostile towards another person (as well as sadistic), but beginning to show their warm side over time). He also sometimes becomes yandere over Jeff.

Leon Casterwill is a Sophomore student of the Six Souls High School working as Derek Fukunaka's assistant for the Public Relations Division and the implied sister of both Derek and Jeff. She is protagonist and the main heroine of Azure Hearts.

Personality:
Leon is the definition of the "shrinking violet" archetype. She is shy, clumsy, and tends to get worked up over the smallest things. She is extremely self-conscious. She can be socially awkward at times, but this has actually served as an endearing trait, which earned her Geovan and Yuki's friendship. In spite of this, she is shown to be quite passionate and determined when motivated, and is loyal to her friends and allies.
 
Then there's the soft and unfettered side to her personality that shows compassion to every person and being, and how everyone is being treated. With her job out of the way, she enjoys relaxing with friends and reminiscing, nostalgically.
 
When she cares for others well-being, she overlooks her down traits and is much more responsible.
Then there's the typical Japanese school girl syndrome about her, always late and apologizing profusely.
All of this changes when she is "awakened".
 
Appearance:
Leon is the splitting image of Noel Vermillion. Leon is a young girl with long back length black hair and red eyes. She wears and the standard uniform for the Sophomore year. A black blazer is added with an armband saying Public Relations Division when she's required to do so by the Student Council.
 
Powers and Abilities:
Leon appears to be a professional gunslinger, effectively wielding a single pistol with incredible effectiveness. Besides that, she possess the ability to use the True Chaos Soul and with that, the Chaos Mode. She can also assume a 2nd form which is stronger. Her outfit in that is kinda revealing too.
 
She is able to see memories of people's past too.

Game Rating and Development

As of now, the game is still undergoing the first development stages. Plot is subject to change, incomplete casting of characters, etc. The game is supposed to be Rated T for Teen due to violence and language used in the game. It is yet to make a debut (trailer). First targeted platform is for PC. Future platforms may be for the Playstation Systems. Recruitment ongoing until October 2014. This game is planned to be a 4 part series where 4 games will be developed under the main title. Spin offs, remixes and HD editions are not included in the 4 limit.

Demo Development
