Introduction
This script basically creates a window accessible by the menu that display variables set to gauges...
I know that's a little vague, but that's because I don't want to limit it to just my idea for it. You can use it to display number of quests completed or number of ____ found, it doesn't matter. that is all up to you. This is only my second script so please give me feedback, suggestions, or any problems you might have. Thank you and hope you enjoy. If You do not wish to use the menu command for access you can set the option in the script to false and use SceneManager(VGW_Scene) in a script call.

How to Use

Copy and paste the script under the Materials section and above the Main section and import a BG into the Graphics/Pictures folder. To avoid complications with other scripts place this script below all others. I will be making a demo shortly if needed.

FAQ

Q: I keep getting an error, what do I do?
A: Make sure that the BG Image is imported into the proper folder and named properly in the script.

I think this is a really sweet script, but the name is utterly misleading. I thought this adds a special Scavenger character class - like Ranger or Hunter - to the game

Why not just Variable Gauges Window or something like that? other than that, nice work!

(No offense meant of course, but I doubt anyone looking for variable gauges would ever click on this title

Fair enough, if it miss lead one, more will follow. That's just what I'm using it for, but your right. If I want people to use it for anything, I might as well rename it too.

Oooh, good one! I've always been looking for something I could use to make a visual window for additional stats! Thanks, mate! This is definately useful for people who wanna use variables to cover extra skills/levels/stats outside of battle, whether it's a crafting system or anything else- this is a deliciously flexible script and a great helping hand for those of us who can't code themselves out of a paper bag XD (Me trying to make a window displaying mere variable numbers = an epic FF8-esque angst quest of struggle and toil, cut short within five minutes as the first boss punts me off a cliff XD)
Personally I'd wanna put this to great use in multiple-ending visual novel styled games, so I can track values like "Cuteness" or "Reputation" without needing to rename the battle stats and hope nobody notices XD ("Hey, why does my love for Anime Boyfriend A look exactly like an MP bar?" XD)

Thank you Bunni89 for the feedback, I hope to get your color problem fixed soon. I'm trying to figure out how to alter them now, and still keep it user friendly.  If any scriptwriters out there want to help, i set up a new object in the array for the gauge colors but it is saying they are not defined. I tried to fix that by adding ""'s but it says it can not convert the string to text. I have even tried defining [r, g, b] but still no luck. I'll keep trying in the meantime.

I fixed the problem with the gauge info not properly saving and loading.

I have rewrote the entire script, with a few tips and ideas.

Why don't any of you have avatars? It's freaking me out man. Is this some kind of hostile take over? What do I even do man?

There I hope you like the avatar pic. Now I'm not just a blank box. Thank for yet again another compliment, however there is still more to change. As of right now the pages do not scroll properly. Still, I thank you again.  It's good to hear that my brain can be creative.

I fixed the issues with the pages not scrolling.

Everytime I use this in a script call:
add_var( 1, "Snowdrop", 2, 1, 100, 1, 2 )
And try to enter the "Game Stat" menu option, I get the error message in the attachement. :'(

If you are using 3.1 use the updated 3.2. I just posted it maybe 10 - 15 mins ago.

I used that line:
add_var( page_index, name, icon, var_id, max_value, color1, color2 )

That way for the first entry:                                                      But correct would be:
add_var( 1, "Snowdrop", 2, 1, 100, 1, 2 )                                     add_var( 0, "Snowdrop", 2, 1, 100, 1, 2 )

So my own inability caused the problem, I'm really sorry for stealing your time. :'( (\s/)
