Sameen's Tale (funny, light-hearted rpg)

Hello rpgmaker.net members. I'm making a game that will feature some of my friends in real life, originally this game was only intended for them, but seeing as I am using scripts and resources from people on this website, I would love your criticisms too.


Story

80 years ago, the world was confronted with an evil, the likes of which would threaten humanity as we know it; were it not for an unlikely duo of warriors with an ambiguous connection with the evil which strived to collapse modern civilization. With their combined efforts and sacrifices, peace was returned to the world.
The inhabitants of Raylia have enjoyed this prosperity for many years, until now.
History is repeating itself, and the evil which once threatened Raylia has dawned upon it once more. However, there is more than one event in history which is recurring as two new unsuspecting heroes emerge to fill the shoes of their ancestors.

Setting

Raylia - A world governed by magic and comparatively primitive technology. Raylia which consists of four discovered islands, each located on separate corners of the world and each characterised by certain traits.

Roserade - Where our heroes are born, an island with lush, fertile forests and teaming with clear, pristine waters in every area of the archipelago; due to the abundance of clean water on the island, it is the world center for trade of animals, fish, plants and materials. The capital is Meridia City, the center of all trade.

Froust - An island located on the top of the world. Due to the location of the island, it is completely covered in dense, thick snow and icy desert. It is infamous for it’s all year round snow and blizzards and its icy plains. The inhabitants, however, are well accustomed to the cold as they tend to be bulkier than normal. Very little vegetation grows in Froust so all food is exported to the capital, Azarus.

Eden - Revered as the capital of Raylia, the home of the King and famous for the industrial production and technological advancements. The royal army, known as the Raylian Guard, govern strictly the laws especially in Eden but in the rest of the world as well. The kingdom capital is Erevere, a heavily guarded, industrial city.

Falcie - A very small continent island with a low population compared to the other islands. The capital, Icarus, is the only large city in the continent. Falcie is known to be fairly primitive in comparison to the technological advancements of the rest of the world, but is famous for the low amount of disorder.

Raylia is a controlled by the Raylian royal family and the Raylian Guard; they are a prosperous and admired family which have governed security and well-being of citizens. Their scientists were the first engineer guns and aerial transport, but the world still continues to use swords and metal-based weapons. The inhabitants of Raylia, especially in the capital continent of Eden, revere the first King Eden as their god and pray to him in temples.

Characters

Sameen Jr. - A timid, ten year old boy who has been excessively nurtured and protected his entire life. His over-protected lifestyle has led him to develop a curiosity for the world surrounding him, especially the creatures, so he constantly escapes from his parent's watchful eye to examine the creatures of the nearby forests. Due to being sheltered all his life, he is oblivious to the darkness of the world around him so when the time comes when he must leave his parents, he faces a much darker world than his own. Sameen is the grandson of the hero, Sameen Sr. but unlike his grandfather and father, has unexplored magical summoning talent which seeps through in some situations.

Abir Jr. - An eleven year old boy who shows an extremely arrogant and self-absorbed facade, although he is truly a self-conscious boy who wishes to be accepted as a warrior. He uses his grandfather the name of his grandfather, Abir Sr. the other hero saved the world 80 years ago, to constantly boast his own fighting talents. However, he was outcast by the youth of his era for not being strong enough to compare to his grandfather. Because of this humiliation, Abir sets out on a quest far away to become the strongest warrior in the world as his father did, and he refuses to let anything stand in the way of his quest.

Sameen Sr. - 80 years ago, he and Abir Sr. purged the world of an evil organisation known as the Syndicate who wished only for the collapse of modern civilization. With Sameen's expert long-range attacks driven by the friendship the two made on their quest, duo defeated the Syndicate, who they thought were gone forever, they hid all their secrets in a codex which they locked away in their final resting place.

Abir Sr. - Abir Sr. along with Sameen Sr. were two heroes who purged the world of the Syndicate 80 years ago and thought that they had stopped them forever. Abir's dream was to become the strongest warrior in the world as his master was, and Sameen accompanied him to do the same. Together with Abir’s unwavering sense of justice and Sameen’s loyalty, they developed a friendship which fuelled them to stop a seemingly unstoppable empire; after which they buried their secrets in a vault hidden in a temple far away.

Maximillion - Maximillion, better known as Max, has been Sameen’s loyal companion since Sameen was four. He came to Sameen when Sameen was crying because he had no-one to play with. Max is extremely powerful and much larger than any other “dog.” Sameen and Max have developed an immensely close friendship to the point where they can talk to each other in different languages.
