RMRK is retiring.
Registration is disabled. The site will remain online, but eventually become a read-only archive. More information.

RMRK.net has nothing to do with Blockchains, Cryptocurrency or NFTs. We have been around since the early 2000s, but there is a new group using the RMRK name that deals with those things. We have nothing to do with them.
NFTs are a scam, and if somebody is trying to persuade you to buy or invest in crypto/blockchain/NFT content, please turn them down and save your money. See this video for more information.

I need help urgently, when I try to open the project file for my project, it says "Failed to load common event data".
I swapped the Common Event data with another RMVX project (that's on hold), and when I opened the project file again, it said "Failed to load system data". I've tried copying the data to a new project and that failed too. What the hell do I do?
It's urgent because it's my "Game in a Week" piece.

Um... well. You're kinda screwed unless you made a backup copy. This is usually a sign that a lot of your stuff got corrupted at some point. I believe this has only happened for me once, when my external hard drive was having issues writing new things to memory.

The only real way to fix this is to replace the corrupted stuff, which for all you know could be everything. =/

Issue sorted. Copied data from the original folder with none to corrupted data to my second folder with corrupted data.
Essentially, all data is in tact.
