Eh, I've been looking forward to World's Dawn more. I've never liked the DS dealie, but I'm sure I would if I had one XD
Regardless, it look nice. However, nothing will ever compare to Harvest Moon 64 in my mind. Let's see how close they can get to wavering my thoughts, eh?
it's like a metaphor or something i don't know

Oh ho ho  :0 And I thought that the only good game that was coming out was the OoT remake xD I'll definitely buy this thing when it's out

Agreed and agreed, I actually owned a DS once back when it was big and bulky. I have played around with the 3ds and it gave me a headache so ill wait for a new version.

Meh, Harvest Moon was cool when it first came out, but its been pretty much the same game for 15 years.

Yeah, that's pretty true. But HM64 is best fo' sho'. There really isn't much they could add to the Harvest Moon series, but that's just at first thought. They should aim to be a little more innovative :\

the title made me think this was a fangame on an rpg maker.

these 3d models look so generic, there's no soul to them.

I don't think that's going to be good. Remakes usually aren't. Especially when applied to such an amazing game as OoT.

What the hell is with people getting headaches playing the 3DS? I've never gotten one, and I have the 3D maxed.

Maybe the secret is to have bad natural eyesight and good glasses.

Yeah I don't get that too, maybe it's more like people think that they're going to get headaches before playing, and yeah, then you'll feel something. But I also have my 3D maxed all the time.

Not that I own one, whenever I'm playing on a 3DS 3D is maxed, I've never got a headache. And I don't have bad eyesight at all, only reason I wear glasses is for reading tiny things or to look smarter.

Why would you play with the 3D maxed? You're supposed to adjust it to a comfortable level. Maxed looks like shit. Also, I don't get all the hate on remakes. Most of them these days are great. Its movie remakes that are shitty, not game remakes.

Maxed looks like shit.
And why would that be? Really depends on the game, in Street Fighter it's awesome. It doesn't always look like shit, most of the time (especially in the main menu) it's more beautiful, and for me it's not unconfortable.

I have to agree with you on the fact that everyone's sceptical about remakes. OoT 3D seems to be a very, very good remake of one of the best games ever made.

because most updates get more than just a port, they change things or add things that didn't need to be there.

like changing a shitload of the item names in chrono trigger ds. they changed the majority of them from distinct names to generic shit i'd make fun of teenagers using for names in an rm game.

Holkeye

Chrono Trigger DS is actually one of the good ones. Mario 64 DS was awesome too. The extra stuff is good for people who like the games, and want more. If you hate them so much, just go and play the original. Its still there. People who don't like changes are just nostalgianerds. Most of the stuff in the original CT was translated wrong.

Kidkay

Unless the remake differers from the original in a serious way, (like a bunch of scenes getting cut) i don't really get bothered. Usually i dont notice the new additions unless they are directly in my face.

I fucking refuse to believe changing something unique like Lode Sword to something generic as fuck as Silver Sword was a good move, translation be damned.
It's not nostalgia, it's legitimately thinking the old names for most of the stuff were BETTER.

Sure story changes I guess, are fine whatever.
