I thought this immediately

Irock

I'll make a topic when it launches. Very. Soon.

I don't know why a spam bot would advertise Stencyl, yet alone in the correct forum while using RMRK exclusive smileys. They registered last December, so they're probably just a lurker.

I don't think a typo is any indication that this user is actually a spam bot.

I think it's just your average human.

I managed to see what it looked like and managed to put a few tiles down randomly, test played it and then it crashed. I was going to try it more than that, but my PC is a junkard and refuses to load it. I think its about time I get a new graphics card... :(

You know, in spite of all the puffery, Stencyl is actually a pretty good program. It's intuitive and easy to pick up, and it makes a lot more sense than Game Maker does. I still think the guy's going a little overboard calling himself "CEO of Stencyl, LLC" and whatnot, but showboating aside, it's pretty cool.

Wow :-\ This is why I stalk under the bridges of forums  :tpg:.

Stencyl i pretty decent program, but they forked up licensing. Seriously? Annually fee? I am okay with flat fee for software, I am okay even with "free to use" schemes like one Unity is pulling off where you pay once to get another export target or more functionality.

But subscriptions? They're dealbreakers for me.
