I haven't heard anything about it from reliable people. QUICK! What do you guys think of it (if you've seen it)? My friend invited me to go watch, but I don't want to if it sucks >>

Moss.

Heard it was fun to watch, but overall a pretty awful and poorly acted movie.

I saw it in Imax 3D and it was pretty fucking fantastic. The soundtrack is amazing and fits perfectly, the CGI is great, and the acting is good from the only actors that matter. (Jeff Bridges and Michael Sheen).
The story was a little better than average, but it's got a lot of great throwbacks to the first Tron if you ever saw it. I liked it a lot, it was definitely very entertaining.

Oh and by the way

Sophist

I could tell CLU was CGI through a lot of it because wasn't fluid in some motions with his head, but man, there were times where he looked real as fuuuck

Sophist

But overall the movie was spectacular, the soundtrack even more so.

Dude in the very beginning when it was just young Kevin Flynn and he was talking to Sam I was like "Holy fuck how the fuck is Jeff Bridges so young what the tits" And my friend Nathan pointed out that his voice looked dubbed and that's when we figured it out. Still amazing computer work.

Nearest one is 2 hours away, and isn't 3d..
Course, I am going downstate mid-Jan so I hope it's still in theaters then.

I really want to see it, but no one wants to go with me. ;9

IAMFORTE

I insinuate nothing..it just so happened that she had no idea what was happening XD

The movie was good, but it could have been a lot better. The 3D was great, but other than that and the first action scene, it kinda sucked. Too much dialogue in the middle. It suffered the Ninja Assassin effect. Action nothing Action. The acting was sub par, but the special effects were great. So was the soundtrack. I may get the DVD just for the effects and soundtrack when it comes out.

Turns out I don't have a ride anyways lolol. Seems like it might have been worth looking at, maybe, but eh ?_? I guess people can discuss the movie in here if they want now, lol.

Found someone to go with. :V

The following might be spoilery.

The visuals were, of course, stunning. The soundtrack was absolutely fantastic, but other than that, it just didn't feel like a Tron movie. Sure there were a few cute little throwbacks, but I feel like somewhere along the line Disney forgot what Tron was. It isn't a techno-themed fantasy land, it's a bunch of anthropomorphic personifications of computer programs mulling around cyberspace. Seriously, the programs were eating food. Wtf? Wasn't it established in the first one that they just drank energy? Did they even have functions? Or are they too busy reading and going to bars to actually do what they're programmed to do? And whats up with the whole "Iso purge"? There are thousands of Isos on the internet. How could there be only one?

I also expected Tron himself to play a bigger role, since he's, y'know, the title of the freaking movie.:|

All in all, I thought it was okay. It was fun to watch. I do prefer the original though.

I never saw the first one, but I wish I had. Although the movie was good, the story seemed a little weak. However, the movie itself was stunning and the effects were amazing.

You should watch the first one. The visuals are a little dated, especially compared to the new one, but it's still way better. Also, the continuity nods are much funner when you actually know what they are.
"End of Line" Club, hurr. :V

Also, greetings programs!

I absolutely loved the movie, even if it was a bit cliche at parts.
