What exactly is this piece here, in Tile C for RMVX?

It's part of the little crown cushion thingy. The gold stuff are ropes to rope it off, like in a museum, and the little black part is the bottom of the stand.

Oh now I see. I guess it does look like something like you'd see in a museum. I had just thought that the dark gray part there was something different, like something a stand was holding.
