Mapping: Please Help!

Alright I have this tileset I found awhile back and it is really starting to anger me a lot. I've been trying to make a decent house out of what's given and I just cannot figure it out. I don't know if it's just the tileset itself or something I am doing wrong.

This is what I keep getting...

I don't know if you can tell but the "A" shape on top of house just does not look right. Like some of the tiles are darker or just completely different...

If someone could demonstrate how the house tileset is supposed to be used or if it's just a piece of junk please post and let me know.

Yeah... I think it's junk... They weren't uniform in making the set... I mean, you just can't use the second set of roof tiles, but the first set (the horizontal and A shapes) are fine... They just screwed up methinks... Either that, or they expect you to be very creative...

EDIT: Yeah, it is crap... The way it is done makes the perspective screwed up and looking not right, even if the colors matched up.
