Yeah but don't go off starting a project with an engine only to find you don't like it and switch to another one. Just try making some key features in your project with the engine or doing some small basic things first. If you don't like it, then switch. Just don't start a whole project and then start switching.

Hey man, you post a thread, I get to comment on what you say, it's how forums work.

I'd also lay off the disrespect if I were you.

You can't be assed to post screenshots of your own project, you jump around from game to game without working longer than a week on each, and you think you can make an mmo?  The best advice you could get is to start with something small and ACTUALLY FINISH IT.  Get over your ADD and complete something instead of spamming our site with project threads for shit you're not going to finish.

This is exactly what I mean. I took a look at some of your other project threads and they're all short, incomplete and on a few different engines. You need to come up with something and stick to it. From what I saw, just like NAMCKOR said, if you can't even finish a simple 1 player game, let alone keep working at it for a week, don't even try to make an MMO. I'm not sure if you know this or haven't realised it because you're caught up in the flare of it but you actually have to take an MMO seriously. You would be the administrator. You would need to enter the mmo day in and day out monitoring things and checking up on any problems that arise. You would have to handle server payments and issues. You would have to manage staff members who, hopefully will work for free and do a good job, and you would have to organize events and updates to keep your virtual world going. Since you keep jumping from game to game and can't keep focus on a project for even a week, you won't be able to make an MMO.

They clearly haven't done anything for your spelling and grammar.

If you can't get anything done alone, how are you going to get anything done in a group?  Especially for a project as large-scale as an mmo.

Requiring others to help you in order to finish a small scale project is a terrible excuse for not being productive at all.

Don't you understand? There's a huge difference between a 1 player game and an MMO. 1 or 2 of your "mates" isn't going to get you far the way things are now. Just drop the MMO already. Seriously, it's too large scale for you. Also like NAMKCOR said, absence of a crew isn't an excuse. I'm designing a game right now. Where's my crew? I don't have one. Am I showing no results? No.

I don't know what to think of that, sounds like it's going to be okay, but that sounds like soemthing from the back of a game case, which is either good or bad, I'm not entirely sure.
