Losing Format when copying scripts

Hi there. I'm looking to learn some Ruby and to create or use scripts to enhance my game. I didn't really know where to post this topic, I believe it's more site related support. Basically I'm trying to add a script from this site to my game, but when I copy and paste the script it loses it's format and appears on one long line. I have read the stickies on the Script page before posting, but they don't seem to mention this problem at all. Does anyone know how to fix this?
