Recoloring?

Hello everyone,

For the past several months I've been doing research on finding good RMXP / RMVX programs to make characters. The only problem is, alot of them dont offer the colors I need (especially for body hue colors and whatnot). I'm wondering whats the best way to recolor characters sprites in RMXP / RMVX if there is a special program to use.

As far as I know, just GIMP or Photoshop and of the like, editing by hand. n_n;

A discontinued blog (mine, yes I'm KaizkouRufi) that has a recolouring tutorial. In fact, the only thing it really has now is that tutorial.. Might be a bit hard to see.

I use MSPaint, by the way.
