Help with existing script, enemy limit

Is there a way to make the max number of enemies above 999? I've looked through the scripts but haven't found anything along the lines of editing that. Same with maximum number of troops. I did find the field for the max number of switches but changes those values doesn't seem to change the max, is it the same with the other maximums?
