    • I'm new at this, and when I test the game out, the game doesn't respond to the keyboard. It was hours earlier, and when I type on any other program, the keyboard works.

    • Make sure the game window's actually the one selected, or try resetting RPGmaker. That happens to me every now and again, I just sort of mess with it until it works.

    Well just in case, make sure there's no autorun events in common events or in map events.
