I have the same thing on my tablet pc, but I just leave it there, idk how to get rid of it

Eh, mine was in the options somewhere but it's gone now.

Anyway, I got a wallpaper to scare a relative. Extremely poor quality, but it did its job, and now they won't get on my computer anymore.

you have to go into "options" then uncheck "Show the Input Panel Tab" under "Opening"
I'd suggest leaving the top 3 check boxes open, so that if/when you end up needing it, you can pull it up

His is set to "float". Why not try setting yours to float, and see if it's there after that.

Float just keeps it from sticking to a corner/side of the screen.

I know what float is, I'm just saying that maybe the option to close it is only there if you're in float mode.
