Sometime at the end of October, I was given a challenge of making a short RMXP game using only the RTP before the end of 2008. I was not allowed any custom resources, custom scripts, additional music, or even any script or graphical edits. I could only use what I was already given. Unfortunately I lost interest in the project midway through November and had almost forgotten about it until two/three weeks back. But happily, I was still able to finish the game by 11 PM on the 31st. It's not much, so don't be expecting something like Shadows. But it's less than 1mb, only about 20 minutes, and enjoyable. "My name is Reverend Hale. I am a wandering priest in this land, and am an expert on witchcraft and occultic phenomena. Recently, I recieved a letter from an old friend and colleague of mine from Paices Village. His letter stated that he feared the town was in great danger and that he urgently needed my help. Though his letter did not say what he needed assistance with, I made haste to Paices Village to do whatever I could for him. Little did I know what lied in store..."
First, it should be obvious, but the glowing crystals are save points. Just for those who couldn't figure that out.
Second, holding the SHIFT key will make Hale dash. This is dead useful, but makes it somewhat harder to control.
Third, all riddles in the game are case-sensitive. You have to answer it with the first letter capitalized like this: "Answer".
