Visual Novel ideas

Yeah, I was thinking of creating a short Visual Novel in RMVX as an experiment, but their are a few things I need to think about first:

First off; would voices be a good idea? I was just thinking, I don't know many people who would do a whole voice script for me, plus it is one of the main things in a Visual Novel.

Second: Would anyone be interested AT ALL? I know a lot of people who play Visual Novels for...uhh....personal reasons, mine will have no H in (maybe a line here and there) so I don't know how big of a hit that would be on it.

Lastly ideas; I want to hear what you would like to see in an RMVX VN, a weird system maybe? Just post your ideas.

Voice acting is always fun, lol. I'd certainly read it because I like the concept, using RMVX for the cause only adds to the flavor. It'd probably be a first, which is always a plus.

Definately do it, you have nothing to lose. I think.

But that's the thing, I would need 7-8 people who have mics and would read a long script. It isn't impossible, but I don't see it happening.

But yeah, I'll be doing it.

I can do voices. I also have a lot of story ideas, if you're interested in a little collaboration.

This is going to sound odd, but I keep a record of a bunch of topics and trivia that I find interesting. This way, when I write something, I can incorporate these things into it.

This may sound strange, but I feel more comfortable having voice actors I know, even if I just know them by a forum (ie. RMRK).

I can do voices. I also have a lot of story ideas, if you're interested in a little collaboration.

I'll be happy to hear your ideas, but for now I have to finish the basic storyline first.

One thing that I am kind of un-sure about is the amount of female voices actors I can find. I better get searching.

Images also seem to be a problems at the moment, but I'll try my best to sort that out.

I'm still writing up the scripts, so it will take about 1-2 weeks to get everything ready for the voice acting.

Male Characters:

Leon - Main character; being played by Redwyn
Sion - Needs to have a straight "moderate" tone.
Dean - Arrogant and egotistic, being played by Shadowdude
Curtis - Carefree and full of dirty jokes.
Grey - Intelligent and uses logic. VA needs to have not-so-emotional tone.
Rider - No details yet.

Female

Mila - Role under wraps. Will only do two lines.
Rose - Tomboy and "mother" of the group.
Schlone (information about the name soon) - Positive attitude, sees the best in people. Needs to have a semi-high pitch voice.

Their are more female characters, but they will be kept secret until I create a project thread.

More ideas and volunteers for voice actors are still VERY welcome.

I just need to get my head around this idea, I have been writing the scripts, but ripping the character images has been a no go; it seems I can't extract the certain files, so I will have to go searching.

I'll PM you guys the first part of the scripts etc when I have found them and created the places. The Project thread will be up by the time this is done.

If you need me to do any random voices, such as a random girl you meet on the street and NEVER SEE AGAIN i'll do it. I'm willing to take on some longer parts as well, but my voice sounds like suck.

Alright, so:

It seems like I will need to put this on hiatus, since the program I use will not extract images from Visual Novels for me, so I am going to continue a group project me and someone else on this forum (he wants to stay confidential along with the project) until I find the resources I need.

This thread is still open to ideas, so post if you still have any.

EDIT: Since I have already started (and quite far into the project) I will create a project thread about this after I have found what I need.
