I've looked through the tileset a numerous amount of times but I have yet to see the road tile...

A screenshot of where it is or where it is (ie. 5,10 in terms of a grid) would be helpful. Thanks!

depends on the tileset you are using but generally it's one of the auto tiles in the top row.

Kokowam

Ok, thanks. I'll check it out later.

This is VX Strike

I haven't found any dirt roads really, but the tile next to the fence on grass autotile works for city roads and things like that.

Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads.

@Ikki - It was a comment directed at Strike Reyhi, saying that the program you are using is RMVX, not RMXP.

Oh, hmmm... I thought it seemed a little off. :P W/e.

Anyways, shut up chewey. >:[ Try to stay at least a little on topic on the non-sewer forums.

Also, I thought it'd be obvious it would be for RMVX considering this topic is in the RMVX forums. ?_?

And I should change my name back. MA thinks I'm some noob named Ikki, mebbe.

MA: I didn't think there was a big difference in the tilesets, my mistake.

also I didn't realize it was moo until the second time I checked this thread, besides moo we all know you ARE a noob :V

Kokowam

;-; I can map and event just fine! ;-;

Also, the tilesets are insanely different. Mapping in VX is really easy but it doesn't look as nice. :(

Kokowam

Wait, double post. Look at the roads here in one of the RMVX tutorials:

Compare to Raphael's roads:

Wth?

The dirt roads are the same. In the former screen, the paved road is from the tile next to the fence.

Kokowam

Oh, I meant the dirt roads. But for some reason, the dirt road in the first one seems to blend better. It's harder to distinguish the dirt from the lighter dirt. It might because in the first one, you can't see the rigid edges when you make a turn with the roads.

Topic resolved!
