(since there are people who are having troubles with it, and upon a request from graywolf, i posted this small tutorial here, hope it actually helps):

find the script you want, mark all of it , right click and choose copy.

Inside rmxp press the F11 button on your keyboard, scroll down the scripts , find main, right click on it and choose insert

you will now have a white line, under it there is a "name zone" type in the name of the script , it can be any name at all (if the scripter asks you to put a name of his choice, do it as it's a way to give the scripter the credit he earned)
move the mouse to the big white zone, right click and choose paste.

the script will now be there and you are ready to use it. (so click ok)
holy shit my sig was big!

What's it suppose to do? I don't get it?

blueXx

it's suppose to show the more newbish makers find the right way to put a script in the scripts db
yes, i realize it's stupid, but i have seen in the scripts forum that quite a bit of people don't know one of those:
a. where is that script database anyways?
b. what the hell is the main script
or c. they just don't know they must post the scripts just above main.
holy shit my sig was big!

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

It dosent work. NONE of them do. I keep getting the same damn Synax Error each time I put the script in there. Im pissed.  >:(
Like, one time, I played RPG Maker, and I liked it.

Zeriab

This is the way to do it for most scripts.
There are scripts which have to be inserted in a different way.
Those script usually comes with an explanation.

Since you get a syntax error it is more likely there is something wrong with the script or that for some reason the whole script is not copied.
