And don't complain that there is no example. This isn't an "example" thing. Creating a minimap is very complicated and can only be done by people with lots of experiance.

Just look over the tut, and see if the event is possible for you to do. If the tut is too complicated for you, too bad. It seems to be the only tut for it and if you are not skilled enough to achieve your goal, then don't complain about it.

If you really want a minimap in your game, than study eventing. When you get good enough at eventing, you will be able to understand the tut.

If you can't do it, the only person to blame is yourself. It will not be his fault for creating a tut that is "too complicated". It can't be helped. It's not his fault you can't do anything you want without enough experiance.

Just take the time to read the tut over, and see if you can understand it. If you can't do it, give up on that idea for the moment. If you can understand it, just create the event.
