I'm just gonna copypaste my thread from FFS~

This was floating around /v/ today and I finally got around to playing it just now.

It is excellent. Basically, what you do is pick a song you want to play and then ride a highway of coloured blocks that appear on the beat of the song. When you complete a song, you send away your score and compete against people around the world for the high-score.

The trial is over. It'll be out sometime in February.

1 - DOWNLOAD LINK: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=K1LS9CRB

2 - Install it

3 - Go to C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc

4 - Open hosts file with notepad

5 - Add this in the last line "72.167.39.116 www.audio-surf.com"
(without the "" of course, also if you're having trouble saving it, go to the file properties and uncheck READ ONLY if it's checked)

6 - Open the game. Do not update.

7 - Register an account and login

though i think it could be a little faster and the tracks more spiraly/windy when it gets fast.

The speed is entirely determined by the song you choose.

Spirally type stuff happens sometimes (once or twice) in Expert modes. I highly recommend you play Ninja Mono.

EDIT: through the fire and the flames just isn't fun to play, vietnam is hard, but its so fun.
EDIT#2: just got the high score on the song "One more Time" by Daft punk, with ninja mono. the scoreboard was full of other scores too, so it's not like nobody plays it.
