Wine with RMXP

Could anyone tell me if RPG maker XP works well with the Wine emulator on Linux? Or also is there any other programs that would allow RMXP to work on linux? Thank you.

I tried wine with RMXP a while back when I still used Ubuntu, but I could never play the game, or do anything more than make maps. However, someone on .org said wine worked, you just couldn't hear music. Check that out.

Thank you, I used to have Linux, but I was dependent on to many windows programs, so I went back to it. Although I am considering buying another computer and using it to test out some Linux distributions, and find one that I like. I would also like to run All my creational type programs on Linux as well, and leave my windows open for productional type stuff. Thank you again for the response.
