How many servers would you need to make and onlione game?

a small one would only need about 2000 players for the 1 server, a massive would need about 50 servers holding 2000 people in each

The RPGXP Netplay server file 0.6.6 (most recent one) can only hold 10 people.

I'm pretty sure it's needed...

do remember a server is just an old pc when i move out im taking this one and two others with me to use as servers and buy a new one.

anyway

server capacity varries depending on its size etc. but you only ever need one to make it work

HOLY CRAP!!! With that you should be able to hold 600 ppl (without lag!), who play MuOnline! But your HDD is a bit small. You should get at least 300GB (it fills really fast), coz a server needs a huge database and tons of logs. Radeon CrossFire XPress 3200
1GB DDR RAM
200GB Hard Drive
100GB Hard Drive
T3 Connection
And a Sony DVD-RW DL

And I have the same thing with a 400GB HD tho for gaming

Is that going to be good enough to hold a site and a dedicated server??

Sure. If you want to run an RMXP/RM2k3/RM2k game, it should be ok. But if you want to run a more complex game, I suggest you should get a better CPU. everythng else is fine.

K, thx well it works perfectly using quake 4 so i dont think i really need to worry about a new CPU just yet man LOL But I will probly save up for one and get it for a christmas gift to myself lol jk

I have my PC upstairs which is OK but I don't no the stats of it...its cool though and play UT2004 smoothly (if u didn't know nivdia and the other graphics card makers use UT2004 for testing their new graphic cards, but I bet they will use 3d max or UT2007 now)
