Making a map scroll in RMXP

Can you make a map scroll like you could in Rm2k/3? And if so, how?

I found that "Scroll Map" event, but it didn't seem to work. I made a PP event with that command in it, but nothig happened.

That might be your problem. It might be scrolling and then you decide to move so it centers on your character. Do an Auto-run.
