So I used to use RPG 95 way back and I remember exporting games was kinda a bitch.  With this new version of RMRK can I easily export my games and send them to my friends?  I want to make something and then send it without it being a huge file that contains all of RMRK.  Will they need anything to run it besides the game file?  Thanks.

Assuming you're using RPG Maker XP, since there is no program called "RMRK," it's very easy to share a game.

Step 1: Project > Make Game Disk

Step 2: Ok

Step 3: Upload

Awesome, pictures and everything.  What an nice reply, thanks.  But isn't there a version of RPG Maker called RPG Maker somethingsomething Knights?  I'm I not supposed to talk about this version?

It's still RPG Maker XP. Do exactly what I told you for that. ^^

Awesome thanks.  This is very off topic, but I want to make a game really badly.  Should I wait for VX or should I just start with XP?  VX doesnt seem to add much and it costs 99$!!

Leventhan

If you want to get VX, "free" is a good choice.

Be kind, everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.

Just wait around for another Don Miguel or RPG Advocate. Or even Postality Knights.
Or a CD-Key.
Whichever.
