RMRK.net has nothing to do with Blockchains, Cryptocurrency or NFTs. We have been around since the early 2000s, but there is a new group using the RMRK name that deals with those things. We have nothing to do with them.
NFTs are a scam, and if somebody is trying to persuade you to buy or invest in crypto/blockchain/NFT content, please turn them down and save your money. See this video for more information.

My computer recently lost its power supply so I've had to switch over to another computer in the mean time(hopefully all of stuff is not completely lost). However, I go to the Enterbrain website to re-downloaded the software. I download RMXP and install it only to have an error pop up saying "Failed to received a trial serial number" which I would assume I would eventually input the original one I bought, but it never asked for a serial key or anything. I do not know what to do from here.

Thanks!

This means you need to Right-click the program and run as administrator.

Assuming you're running Vista, of course.

I'm running XP. What happens is I unzip the folder, open up the "Setup Menu", install both RMXP and the RTP from that setup menu, and try to fire up RMXP only to get that error.

I'm also running on Windows XP Professional, Service Pack 2. The installation doesn't even prompt me to enter a serial number either.

thanks but I have no intentions of using an illegal version. I mean, I've already paid for it, you know?
